It'a a JUNGLE out there!!!

The roads aren't only for cars.............
The animals here are unfortunately mistreated so usually all the animals are terrified of humans especially ones they don't know. So Gray went up to this donkey and just stood there, he let him get comfortable, then he got a little closer and the donkey stuck out his head to be pet.
Many have dogs, and cats as pets but also popular is parrots. they are so pretty, they have red feathers on their bellies and blue feathers underneath the green ones. Some of them even talk...in SPANISH!! They mostly say HOLA, buts its still fun to talk to them.
We were on a bible study and she just got a gift from her grandmother, it was a new puppy! Gray and I loved him! We are having a hard time not turning into crazy animal people. Everyday I see dogs, cats, horses, birds and I want to pull a Noah and have them follow me two by two into my backyard.....I will let you all know if we turn into a zoo of domestic animals.....with me anything is possible :)

This is I hope the only millipede that I run into. Fortunately it was dead already but it was about 6 inches long and it was just on the side walk out side our house. GROSS!!! I really do not like millipedes...I think its the legs....
We call this puppy Evil Kenevil...because he is chained to the tree in his home backyard, but he wanted to be able to see over the fence so he climbed the tree he was tied to and laid there and slept and watched the world go by. Gray was really impressed that he could even get up the tree,
These are lizards....they are everywhere! they range in sizes from 1 or 2 inches in length to over a foot long! They always scare me, because they are usually sitting out on the sidewalks taking in the sun and as you walk by they quickly run away which makes me jump out of my skin most days!
Its hard to tell, but this one was really big....I am glad every day that we live in a concrete house. Most houses are made from wood, so these guys are able to get under the doors and into your home. Imagine getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night ....and your sharing with HIM!!!
It seems most have chickens and roosters but we have seen many having ducks this time. We think that they eat them, there really isn't much else that you can do with a duck. We have discovered that there is actually nothing in the forests that is poisonous because the snakes and other creatures have been completely captured and eaten. A man in town also owns an endangered hawk. We weren't exactly sure if it was a hawk or a falcon, and we also have no idea why and how he has it here. Its against the law here too to have this bird in captivity, but most consider the law only suggestions. ITs claws were over an inch long! It could do major damage if it wanted to!
Never a dull moment around here....
