If there was an award for stupid stunts we would have won

We picked up our key today for our new home. It doesnt have a sofa yet, but the bed was delivered and it is really nice. So we went over with our friends Kelsey and Desiree, to put screens on the windows, and clean up. The windows here never have screens and you need to keep the bugs out so it is really important that you put them on the windows. So you all would be so proud of me, the home was full of termites and gigantic spiders! So I had to scrap the termite trails (while they were still alive and wiggling) totally grossed me out. So then after the termites and the spider removal we had to wash down the walls and clean the floors. Everything went really well except we had no running water. We are supposed to have a tenaco (a huge water cooler that sits on the roof) A tenaco holds water in it and while the city turns the water off we can still have running water....well ours seems to be broken...SURPRISED?? NO!!! So we did as much as we could and then left for the afternoon. We planned to return to the house at 6pm to see if the tenaco began to work. So we went over to the house and of course its still not working. We likely have to call a plumber tomorrow....which really means that a man will come over scratch his head and tell us "sorry it seems to not be working" SO here is where we get the stupid stunts award....Our front door seems to be a little unsafe and Gray had wanted to use one of the side doors. Between the side door is a locked gate....so we leave the house and lock all the doors...only to realize that we dont have a key to the door nor a key to gate...we were locked out and in our house!!! Our friend Kelsey was there and tried every key that we could, but Gray and I were locked in!! SO Gray had to break into our home to get us out! It took about 45 minutes for him to work open the door knob with the key that was "supposed" to be the key.....fortunately we got out and with little damage to the door. Gray and I however feel like the house is winning!! SO tomorrow we have to find a plumber, so we think that we will be moving into our home maybe in 2 months LOL Well have had much excitement today and are going to bed early. We need a good rest, it helps us adjust to the way things are here. Talk to you all soon.
