Primero dia en la servicio!

Today was our first day in the ministry. It was HOT!!! But we had a great time, the people here we talk to are so friendly and they love to talk about the bible. Lisa wrote out a presentation for me that talked about family and the importance of it. So when it was my turn I had to go for it, no english at all!

There were 8 of us in service today, including a little girl named Carolina.

She is so cute as you can see. I gave her a gift of some stickers and she was so happy. Its incredible to see how appreciative these children are.

So the routine here is to go out from 8:45am till 12. then a sister invited us for lunch. she made us a traditional lunch....we had pigeon beans, black beans, rice, fried plantains and boiled veggies....It was DELICIOUS!!

 Becuase lunch is the big meal you need to have a siesta afterwards and because you are so hot from the morning you actually have a shower before your siesta. (and its a cold shower, never thought I would love that!) and then back out to preach at 3pm. Today was a great day, it was so nice to just talk and walk door to door.

We wanted to show you the Regular Pioneers of Duverge. they work very hard in the ministry. We are very excited to work along with them while we are here.
