No habla ingles? No hablo espanol?

So today we were preaching, although we all work together we are still assigned partners. Gray and I were assigned to work with two sisters, so SOLO ESPANOL (they did not know a word in english!)

We did alright.....well if you call hand gestures and broken spanish sentences a success :)

This is all of us working our way to the territory, we arrive in the neighborhoods all together then disperse to cover the blocks.

Service is very different here because doors to homes are everywhere. most wood homes can have up to 4 families that live there. this is an example of that.

Gray worked with Chris and went on a bible study with him, his father I guess you would call him a butcher?? I use that term loosely as you can see from the pictures....Hungry anyone?

After our siesta and cold shower we were ready to go out again, we did some of the Haitian areas that Chris and Lisa are cultivating. They speak Creol amazingly!  The people that come from Haiti for work and to live are the poorest of poor, they literally have nothing. But they love to talk about the bible and have many questions. Maybe we will switch to Creol?!!  hahahahahhahaha

These are some of the homes that the people in Dominican live in, I think that we often don't realize how good we have it.  We always have enough sometimes even more than enough.

We finished the day with a meeting because the CO is visiting, and we can't go a day without Gray trying to fix things.  Chris says that if Gray lived here he would have enough work to do just in the brothers houses alone to keep him busy for years! Well, we will likely not have time to get all those things done, but Gray says he will concentrate on Chris and Lisa's wish list.
